Job Description
We\’re looking for an Oracle EBS Payroll Techno‑Functional Architect to support EBS Payroll, Absence and Core HR modules for UK public sector clients. You will need expert knowledge of UK payroll processes and proven experience with Oracle Global Payroll / Absence Cloud, guiding projects and translating complex solutions for diverse audiences. Your role as an Oracle EBS HCM Techno‑Functional Architect will be instrumental in providing impactful solutions to our clients and supporting existing solutions, with a focus on ongoing support of Oracle EBS HCM modules, specifically UK Payroll, Pension and Absence for the UK public sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support Oracle EBS HCM, focusing on Payroll and Absence modules for UK clients.
- Demonstrate expert proficiency in all aspects of UK Payroll, Pension and Absence processes.
- Apply hands‑on experience in Oracle Global Payroll / Absence Cloud, particularly within the UK Public sector.
- Conduct System Integration Testing, support User Acceptance testing and Payroll Parallel Reconciliation (PPR) and support hyper care.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of HCM technical tools, including HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas and Payroll Batch Loader.
- Lead customer discussions pertaining to integrations, data migrations and reports related to Payroll, OTL, Absence and other relevant modules.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12+ years of experience in implementation of Oracle EBS HCM for Absence, OTL and Payroll modules for UK.
- Proficient in all UK Payroll, Pension and Absence Processes.
- Hands‑on experience working on Oracle Global Payroll / Absence Cloud for UK Public sector clients.
- Knowledgeable on HCM technical tools including HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulae and Payroll batch loader.
- Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams, namely technical, business and management teams.
- Knowledge and support of existing solutions and preparation of status reports with RAG, highlighting risks and mitigations and maintaining RAID log.
- Excellent planner for release planning and other delivery planning.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Coaching and mentoring team members; experience managing 5+ team members.
- Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies & ITIL Methodologies.
