Knowledge of aerospace procedures related to Non-Conformities, Concessions, DQNs, WQNs, Special Instructions, and In-Service Repairs (e.g., A, A, A, AS--M).

Lead and perform static stress analysis and Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT) assessments to evaluate the impact of non-conformities, repairs, and modifications on primary and secondary aircraft structures.

Understand baseline/certification stress analysis performed on specific work packages.

Understand concession inputs such as CODs, COIs, COAs etc.

Conduct stress calculations for metallic, composite, and hybrid structures using both analytical and numerical methods as per aerospace certification and engineering methods.

Utilize specific tools such as ISAMI, GFEM, DFEM, as well as finite element software (Patran/Nastran, Hypermesh).

Collaborate closely with the offshore stress team, ensuring clear technical communication, timely guidance, and smooth execution of deliverables.

Prepare, review, and validate stress outputs such as COS, COI, etc. in line with Airworthiness requirements.

Ensure adherence to SAP, PLM, and configuration control processes.

Drive issue resolution by interfacing with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality, configuration management, etc.).

Serve as a technical representative for onsite offshore coordination, addressing queries, clarifications, and technical escalations.

Skillset:

  • Knowledge of Wing Plant Engineering Team (PET) and Mise Au Point (MAP) activities across Wing Airframe Scope and Programs.
  • Analysis using aerospace stress methods (Static, Fatigue and Damage Tolerance) to justify structural justifications for non-conformities (Concessions).
  • Knowledge of hand calculations and FE analysis.
  • Knowledge of aerospace processes and procedures relating to design (RSDP, SIDP, AP, ABD, AIPI, AIPS, etc.).
  • Understanding of aerospace design principles and airworthiness requirements.
  • Experience of using aerospace Supply (DocMaster, Airnavx etc.).
  • Ensuring the safe operation of aerospace aircraft with respect to structural integrity.
  • Concession Signatory experience.
  • Valid aerospace training certificates in SAP, ISAMI, VPM and PASS SSI.
