The Role

Working alongside our External Account Management team, you will be responsible for managing all day-to-day customer activities, including maintaining and supporting our existing programs and processes, and ensuring that any new briefs and projects are successfully supported through our business from enquiry to execution. More specifically, this will include product development, sampling (developing, checking, presenting, tracking), product setup on internal systems and general account administration. Internally based at our modern offices in Castle Donington, this is very much a process-driven and hands-on role with a lot of direct interaction with customers and internal colleagues from other ITL sites around the world. It is a wide and varied role in a fast-paced environment where excellent time and priority management is key, along with a keen attention to detail and a clear and concise communication style.

You will need to form an in-depth understanding of your customers' priorities and to develop close relationships with them, empathising with their challenges and focusing on delivering first-class service and support. From time to time, there will be a need to visit customers directly and occasionally deputise for the Account Management team at meetings during holidays, etc.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of successful internal customer management in a business to business environment.
  • Experience of successful project management against tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively and consistently.
  • Ready to take ownership of the role and its varying responsibilities.
  • Ready to consider solutions that ensure successful resolution and maintained customer engagement.
  • A desire to make a contribution and be an integral member of a successful team.
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Comfortable with learning new often bespoke software systems.

Desirable:

  • Currently working in a similar role or with experience of what this role entails from a retailer or garment manufacturer perspective.
  • An underlying knowledge of our products or experience of supplying into a similar environment.
  • A creative flair with an interest in fashion/apparel retail.
