This includes checking IDs on entry, monitoring customer behaviour and ensuring all guests comply with licensing laws and venue policies at all times. You will be responsible for managing entry and exit points, monitoring venue capacity and acting as the first point of contact for customers as they arrive, setting the tone with a friendly, professional and welcoming approach. Throughout the night, you will remain visible and approachable, helping to prevent issues before they arise and stepping in to calmly defuse situations when required. On occasions where incidents do occur, you will support the internal team by handling situations safely and appropriately, including the removal of customers where necessary, always using de-escalation techniques and proportionate responses. Customer and team safety is the priority at all times, alongside delivering a high standard of customer service and ensuring everyone leaves the venue with a positive impression of Maggie’s. You will contribute towards making the venue a safe, secure and enjoyable environment for both our customers and our team.

About You: If you are looking for variety and love being busy, you’re in the right place. We are looking for hard working, flexible, reliable and committed people who are happy to work late nights including the weekends. You must have a valid SIA license and if you want to be considered for a freelance position, you must also be able to provide a copy of the relevant insurance documents.
