Freelance Gifting Fulfilment Packer - Seasonal (Nov-Dec 2026) - Glasgow HQ
At itison we match our 1.9m members to the best local businesses, create our own world-class events, run some of our home city's best venues, and donate experiences to those who need them the most through our own charity.
We're looking for a friendly, fast, hard-working and detail-focused freelance packer to join our Gifting team this festive season, helping us deliver our popular gift voucher service in the run-up to Christmas.
This is a freelance/casual role based at our Glasgow HQ, just off George Square.
You'll start with an induction and training session on Thursday 26 November, with shifts beginning on Friday 27 November for our Pink Weekender promotion.
We expect the work to continue until around 20 December.
About our Gifting team
Our Gifting team makes sure that every customer who orders an itison gift voucher has a smooth and magical experience.
Our internal team will take care of printing and preparing the vouchers, and our freelance packing team will help us get thousands of festive orders accurately packed and ready to make their way to customers.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working at pace, following clear processes and getting the details right every time.
It's a busy, hands-on role and a key part of helping us deliver a brilliant customer experience during our busiest gifting period of the year.
- What you'll be working on
- Accurately packing gift voucher orders ready for delivery
- Checking orders carefully to make sure the correct items are included
- Organising completed orders for the daily Royal Mail collection
- Following established packing processes to keep everything running smoothly
- Working efficiently with the wider Gifting team to hit daily order targets
- Keeping your workspace organised and helping the team maintain a smooth flow of orders

Shifts & availability
We're provisionally looking for a freelancer who can commit to four shifts per week.
- From 27 November: around 15-16 hours per week
- 3 x weekday shifts: 12pm-4pm
- 1 x Saturday shift: 9.30am-12.30pm
- From December: around 21+ hours per week
- 3 x weekday shifts: 10am-4pm
- 1 x Saturday shift: 9.30am-12.30pm
Shifts will be agreed in advance with the Gifting Team Lead. Hours may vary slightly depending on order volumes across the festive period.
Pay rate
The rate for this freelance position is £13.45 per hour.
