At Itineris, we help ambitious organisations turn complexity into performance by using strategy, creativity and data to drive measurable outcomes. As an award-winning digital agency working across the education, charity and professional services sectors, we build campaigns grounded in clarity, impact and collaboration. SEO is a critical part of our offering, and we’re known for delivering search strategies that improve visibility, strengthen content performance and support long-term client growth.
The Role
We’re looking for an SEO Account Manager who can lead the strategy and delivery of organic search activity across a range of client accounts. You’ll play a key role within the SEO team, shaping recommendations, managing client relationships and ensuring work is delivered with clarity, accuracy and commercial purpose. You’ll be responsible for building SEO strategies, developing activity roadmaps, analysing performance and presenting recommendations to clients. This is a hands-on role, suited to someone who understands the detail behind technical SEO, content optimisation and search performance, while also being confident leading client conversations. This role blends technical knowledge, analytical thinking and client leadership, making it ideal for someone who wants to take ownership of SEO accounts and deliver work that has a measurable impact. You are required to attend the office a minimum of three days per week. Our current office days are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SEO strategy and delivery across a range of client accounts, ensuring activity is clearly planned, prioritised and aligned with client objectives.
- Carry out targeted keyword research and search trend analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop organic search roadmaps, content recommendations and workflow plans that support long-term performance.
- Conduct competitor analysis and website benchmarking across content, on-page optimisation and off-site metrics.
- Produce technical SEO audits and provide clear, actionable recommendations for client websites.
- Research content opportunities and support campaign planning across priority topics, sectors and audiences.
- Monitor organic performance, keyword rankings and search visibility, using data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Create client-facing reports that explain results clearly, highlight value and outline next steps.
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and SEMrush to inform recommendations and reporting.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and ensure client deliverables are accurate, consistent and insight-led.
- Attend and lead client meetings and calls, presenting recommendations with confidence and clarity.
- Support new business activity through research, insight and strategic SEO recommendations.
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re confident managing SEO accounts end to end, and just as comfortable presenting recommendations to clients as you are analysing rankings, auditing websites or shaping content briefs. You’ll likely bring:
- 4+ years’ experience in SEO, ideally within an agency environment.
- Experience managing SEO accounts and delivering work across multiple clients or projects.
- Strong knowledge of keyword research, technical SEO audits, content recommendations and organic search strategy.
- Confidence presenting to clients and leading calls or meetings.
- Proficiency across SEO tools, including Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and/or SEMrush.
- Good working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- The ability to create clear, client-facing reports that turn data into practical recommendations.
- An analytical mindset, with confidence interpreting performance data and identifying actions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A highly organised approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.
- The ability to work effectively across multiple projects, teams and client priorities.
- A strong work ethic, self-motivation and a genuine interest in digital marketing.
What We Offer
- A collaborative, insight-led culture with high autonomy and real ownership.
- The chance to work on meaningful campaigns for clients in education, charity and professional services.
- Hybrid working; 3 days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, in our Shoreditch office.
- Salary between £45k-£55k.
- A fast-paced, supportive team environment that values clarity, creativity and impact.
- Regular team events, socials and knowledge-sharing sessions.
