The Role
We are looking for a Web Designer to join our team. You will play a central role in shaping user-centred, conversion-focused websites for well-known organisations. Working closely with strategists, developers, and project managers, you will translate complex requirements into clear, elegant, and effective digital experiences.
This role suits a designer who combines strong visual craft with a structured, problem-solving mindset and a solid understanding of how design supports business outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Design high-quality website interfaces for enterprise projects
- Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into intuitive designs
- Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity visual designs
- Apply and evolve design systems to ensure consistency and scalability
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately
- Contribute to UX thinking, accessibility, and usability best practice
- Present and justify design decisions clearly to internal teams and clients
- Iterate designs based on feedback, data, and performance insights
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience as a web or digital designer, ideally within an agency environment
- Strong portfolio demonstrating website design, UX thinking, and visual quality
- Excellent understanding of responsive design and modern web standards
- Experience designing for WordPress or other CMS-driven websites
- Working knowledge of UX principles, accessibility (WCAG), and usability
- Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g. Figma)
- Ability to balance creativity with structure, deadlines, and commercial objectives
- Clear communicator who works well in multidisciplinary teams
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for education, charity, or professional services sectors
- Familiarity with CRO principles and performance-led design
- Understanding of how design supports SEO and digital marketing
- Experience contributing to or maintaining design systems
