Learning new skillsets and pushing the boundaries has always been the norm in the IT hosting team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Plymouth for an IT and Infrastructure Engineer. This role plays a key part in maintaining and evolving itim's custom private cloud and SaaS-based infrastructure. You will support and enhance our core hosting platforms, networks, and infrastructure services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across the estate.
This role offers the opportunity to influence technical direction, contribute fresh ideas, and work across a broad and evolving technology stack. This is a hands-on, on-site position suited to someone with a strong generalist background across infrastructure, systems administration, and networking; someone comfortable operating across multiple domains rather than confined to a single specialism. Experience with Proxmox and any KVM is strongly desired.
This role is based in Plymouth Science Park, Plymouth, Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours per week, working hours 9am - 17:30.
