Role Description:
- Maintain accountability of all aircraft media and classified material assigned to the unit while contractor is on duty.
- Format and load aircraft media as requested by the squadrons.
- Assemble media sign out logs for each aircraft go.
- Ensure sign out procedures of vault media and material are complied with IAW squadron SOPs.
- Execute Weapon Storage Vault procedures IAW SOP.
- Download weapons events and print employment sheets.
- Provide Joint Anti-Air Model (JAAM) shots as requested by flight leads.
- Download low-fly Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) and Royal flight information and update as required by the squadrons.
- Upload low-fly flight plans into appropriate system to ensure de-confliction with other aircraft low-flying in the same low-fly areas.
- Pass low-fly booking number to flight lead in person upon step or via Top 3.
- Update changes to low-fly entry time as driven by aircraft delays.
- Ensure the security of the vault and ensure the materials within are up to date and logged appropriately.
- Ensure the vault status is updated as required by the squadrons to reflect the personnel entering the vault.
- Coordinate with scheduling when the most appropriate time is for uncleared personnel to enter the vault.
- Maintain visitor log.
- Coordinate with security forces to update alarm access letters and assist Activity Security Managers (ASM) with alarm test requirements.
- Coordinate with WDO to ensure enough media is available and in full working order to execute daily flying and debrief as required by the squadrons.
- Coordinate with Advanced Programs office or Vice Commander’s Network and WDO to ensure all vault systems are updated as required by the squadrons.
- Ensure incoming and outgoing personnel are trained appropriately on vault SOPs.
- Brief personnel on security violations as required by the squadrons.
- Track all broken media and work with appropriate agencies to get broken media back to full working order in a timely manner.
- Develop security plans as required for temporary duty (TDYs) and deployments, coordinating with Advanced Programs, MX, and Project Officers (PROJOs) to ensure security processes are in place for deployment and TDY locations.
- Successfully complete required training to manage squadron security requirements prior to managing such requirements.
- Assist the WDO with Operational Flight Program (OFP) tracking, read file management, and other tasks.
Qualifications:
- A master's degree and 3 years recent and relevant work experience, an undergraduate degree and 6 years work experience or 10 years of recent and relevant work experience.
