Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accountability and control of flight-testing materials.
  • Perform duties as the squadron Technical Order Distribution Account (TODA) managerper T.O. 00-5-1, and Flight Crew Information File (FCIF) library manager per AFIs.
  • Manage squadron hard and soft copy libraries of standardized reference materials, asdictated by AFI or local supplement. This can include AFIs, T.O.s, Air Force Tactics Techniques and Procedures Manuals, and Joint Publications. Maintain online accounts and distribution accounts with the various agencies required to sustain access to current library materials.
  • Manage the Technical Order (TO) library, flying related publications and checklists viathe Technical Order Distribution Account (TODA) and Enhanced Technical InformationManagement System (ETIMS) to ensure all TO, publications and checklist are current.
  • Ensure all Flight Information Publications (FLIP) are current and accessible to all aircrew.
  • Maintain Flight Crew Information File (FCIF) and any additional Read File libraries (i.e.OGRF, SRF, SOFRF, etc.).
  • Ensure all Briefing Room and Mission Planning materials to include local area maps,Training Rule publications, checklists and Special Interest Items are current andserviceable. Develop standardized briefing room aids as directed by the Chief ofOperations Group Stan/Eval (OGV) to ensure mission spaces comply with AFIrequirements for posted information and available reference material.
  • Perform duties as receiving agent for hard copy delivery of Flight InformationPublications (FLIP) and host nation FLIP equivalents.
  • Coordinate with training officer to review and update student/permanent party records,folders and grade books per the applicable AFIs: AFI 11-202V2 and AFI 11-2MDS-V2 aswell as associated MAJCOM/Installation supplements, and locally-developed guidance.
  • Notify crewmembers, scheduling office, and unit leadership of upcoming and overduetesting, evaluation, and training requirements.
  • Provide scheduling with a product showing who requires any form of check ride in theupcoming months and ensure the scheduling office schedules those rides appropriately.
  • Ensure that when the check ride is not effective for weather, MX, etc. that the ride is thenrescheduled in a timely manner to meet requirements.
  • Perform testing administrator duties/function for the unit.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of those aircrews entering into the first month of evaluationeligibility period.

Qualifications:

  • US Citizen; active Secret security clearance.
  • Master's degree in a related field and 3 years of recent specialized experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of recent specialized experience; OR 10 years of recent specialized experience.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in the use/application of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Microsoft Access, Excel, and SharePoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a CAF Squadron/Group/Wing office.
  • Experience working with scheduling program.
  • Experience working in a squadron-level or higher commander, directors, and/or support staff.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform computer-based work using standard office equipment.
  • Requires frequent verbal communication, active listening, and visual acuity to perform job responsibilities effectively.
  • Must follow site-specific safety, security, and dress standards.
