Role Objective
Overall Objective of Role: Senior Claims & Underwriting Executives at ITIC are responsible for marketing, underwriting and claims handling for a portfolio of assureds within specific geographic areas. It is a unique role within the industry with a high degree of autonomy.
Main Responsibilities
The core aspects of this varied role focus on marketing, underwriting and claims handling:
- Underwriting: Manage existing assureds, provide new business and renewal quotes.
- Customer Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of ITIC’s customer base.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with assureds, insurance brokers, industry contacts and legal advisors.
- Representation: Represent ITIC at industry events worldwide, confidently network with peers.
- Marketing: Help create marketing, loss prevention and guidance materials. Give presentations and take part in webinars.
- Sales Development: Identify and develop new sales leads through various channels.

- 5 years or more working in a marine and transport claims role.
