Reporting to the Facilities and Logistics Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining our offices, workshop facilities, systems, and grounds, ensuring they remain safe, efficient, and well-presented for colleagues and visitors alike.
You will
- Conduct regular inspections, maintenance and testing of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and fire safety equipment.
- Perform general repairs such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical tasks.
- Diagnose and resolve building issues, including HVAC malfunctions, plumbing leaks, and electrical faults.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, minimising downtime.
- Ensure good housekeeping is maintained throughout all facilities, keeping them safe and in good repair, maintaining common areas, and exterior grounds.
- Assist in setting up and rearranging office spaces, furniture, and equipment as needed.
- Conduct safety inspections and perform corrective actions to mitigate potential hazards.
- Be responsible for the onboarding and general supervision of contractors, ensuring RAMs are in place as required.
- Perform preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment and systems are functioning efficiently.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure all equipment and tools are in good working condition and are stored properly.
- Assist with facility projects, renovations, and installations.
- Report recurring issues and suggest improvements to enhance facility operations.
- Occasionally travel to other ITI Group sites as required to support facilities and maintenance activities.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and protocols.
- Successfully complete all identified training both in-house, and external.
- Assist with any other duties reasonably requested and in line with the requirements of the post, including logistics support as required.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.
