We are seeking an experienced C# .NET Developer for a 12-month Inside IR35 contract to support the delivery of scalable, high-quality applications. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, contributing to the design, development, and enhancement of business-critical systems within an Agile environment managed through JIRA. This role suits a contractor who is immediately available and can quickly add value while working collaboratively with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders. Previous experience in banking is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET / .NET Core.
- Design and consume RESTful APIs and services.
- Work with SQL Server and data-driven applications.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET.
- Experience with Web APIs, MVC, and/or Microservices.
- Solid SQL and database design knowledge.
- Experience using Git and modern development workflows.
- Comfortable working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
- Cloud experience (especially Azure).
- Frontend frameworks (React, Angular, etc.).
- DevOps tooling and automation.
- Unit and integration testing experience.
- 12-month contract.
