Junior Web Developer (would suit a CS graduate, junior with a portfolio or six months to a year experience – we're open) Thetford (must drive due to location) (you'll start in the office full-time but then the option of a hybrid model to suit you will follow) around £30k plus excellent benefits including 25 days holiday, life assurance, 11% pension, EAP and more Web, websites, web pages, PHP, content management systems, WordPress, Drupal, Craft, Civi, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, this is what excites you; creating websites that people want to be on, find useful, are intuitive and easy to use and help make a difference. You've been coding since a young age and web just makes sense to you; you love the aesthetic, the front-end but also love fixing things in the background that others can't, making their lives easier. Whether you’ve done a degree or are self-taught, you have a great portfolio of projects online or your GitHub and can’t wait to show what you can do. This organisation is important to our ecosystem and the website and web apps are the window in. They work with government, charities, the public, scientists and more and support a giant knowledge-base that makes a difference. We are looking for a solid foundation in web and a drive to learn. You'll work alongside Tom, an excellent mentor who will guide and support you. He has documented everything so has an amazing library at his fingertips ready for your questions. Around you and Tom are an amazing leadership team that will support, challenge and push you to be great; G's door is always open and he will guide you to the right answer, enabling you to get there at your pace. You will mainly work with PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS alongside a powerful CRM, methodically fixing bugs, systematically fixing errors, poor set-up and broken links. There are also lots of ongoing and new projects for you to get involved in, the full mix.
