Ithaca Energy is accepting applications for a Non Operated Joint Venture Intern as part of our 2026 Summer Internship Programme. The position is within our Operations Department and located in our Aberdeen Office. Our Summer Internship programme is 12 weeks, starting on Monday 1st June and finishing on Friday 28th August 2026. Applicants must be available between these dates.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day departmental activities by contributing to ongoing work scopes and assisting the team in delivering key business priorities.
- Take part in projects and initiatives, providing practical support and helping to progress deliverables across the function.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues across the organisation, using the internship as an opportunity to network, collaborate and gain insight into different areas of the business.
- Bring fresh thinking and new ideas by offering perspectives, suggestions and innovative approaches that can add value to team activities and wider business challenges.
- Analyse information and present findings clearly, whether through reports, presentations, data analysis or team updates.
- Work in line with company values, policies and safety expectations, maintaining a professional approach and contributing to a strong culture of compliance, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Make the most of development opportunities by learning from experienced professionals, asking questions, and applying feedback to build capability throughout the programme.
Qualifications & Experience
- You will need to be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and be on track to achieve a merit level qualification in 2027.
- Proficiency in computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to work as part of a team, learn new skills and broaden experience.
- Self-starter and willing to take a flexible approach to problems.
- Good communicator, both orally and written.
- Good planning and organisational skills.
