A 12 month maternity contract for a Pharmacy Assistant in Customer Service at The Private Pharmacy, an ITH Group company. We are looking for a positive and hardworking person to join our dispensing team in a busy online pharmacy dispensing controlled medications daily.
The role: To assist the dispensing team with various duties including:
- Answering phone calls and dealing with telephone and online queries
- Preparation for dispatch and assisting with packing of orders
- Liaising with clients and end users
- General pharmacy tidying and disposal of rubbish in accordance with pharmacy procedures
Duties will include:
- Providing customer service support to our service providers and end users
- Dealing with queries in conjunction with the duty pharmacist operations team
- Ensuring an adequate supply of packaging is available for daily orders
- Unpacking orders as they arrive and disposing of any packaging
- Assisting with stock rotation and order stocking as required by the pharmacist
- Assisting the dispensing team with dispatch of daily orders
- Assisting with the packaging and dispatch of medical equipment
You will be: Able to work on your own initiative, hardworking, and have excellent communication skills as well as being fully IT literate. Previous pharmacy experience would be desirable.
