We have an exciting creative opportunity for a Post Production Coordinator to join us on an initial 5 month fixed term contract. The role sits within the John Lewis Creative & Content Team which is based in The Creative Studios, located @ NW10 7FW Park Royal. The role is known for the day to day processing and handling of all images and videos that are produced by the John Lewis Studio. This includes uploading high quality omni channel visual assets and videos that meet timings, product style guidelines, briefs and technical specifications.

You will produce exciting content that highlights and elevates both of the Partnerships brands, working closely with:

  • Art Direction
  • Production
  • Third party agencies
  • Buying teams
  • Product Launch team
  • Sample Coordination team

What will you be doing?

  • The day to day processing and handling of ecomm and creative images and videos through to internal/external Retouch and then final delivery.
  • QC’s all images produced by the studio before and after retouching, checking imagery in photoshop for crops, guidelines and consistency in line with brief, ensuring all imagery is named and sized correctly supporting quick and easy upload to servers and archive storage.
  • Monitoring all assets, identifying any coding errors or missing images, ensuring full suites are delivered on time.
  • Downloading and uploading imagery from internal and external sources to ftp sites and external agencies, delivering to required drives in the agreed formats, on time and meeting KPI’s.
  • Communicating retouching amends to Senior Retouchers, schedules the amends of these and delivers within set timeframes.
  • Maintaining good ‘housekeeping’ of all image and video assets within internal and external image servers.
  • Resolve digital asset queries and manage/prioritise requests from key teams, through appropriate channels of communication. Uses initiative to resolve queries quickly and efficiently.
  • Track and maintain all amends through the reporting log to support.
  • Images are omni channel ready and delivered to brief on time.
  • Ensures images and videos are archived and handled appropriately.
  • Work with the studio team to ensure samples are received from shoot for colour matching and passed onto the warehouse in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with Retouch, Production and Launch Coordination teams to ensure digital and video assets are delivered on time.

Requirements

Essential skills you’ll need:

  • Mac literate with proven working experience of Excel and photoshop.
  • Experience/understanding of working within a studio/production department.
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills with the ability to prioritise large volumes of work effectively & efficiently within tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable communicating effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Great attention-to-detail, demonstrating a high degree of accuracy.

Desirable skills you’ll have:

  • Previous experience of working with and delivering Video assets would be advantageous.
  • Have a keen interest in e-commerce image editing and video delivery.
  • Previous experience of quality checking retouched imagery is useful but not essential as training will be provided.
