We’re looking for an experienced Technical Animator to join our Creative Services team. This is a highly technical animation role where attention to detail really matters. You’ll be producing a wide range of digital and motion content, including video, TV advertising, film visual effects and bespoke animations.

While strong creative animation skills are essential, this role has a strong technical focus. A deep understanding of Adobe After Effects, particularly building files to support templating, is key. You’ll be someone who obsesses over detail, takes pride in precision, and enjoys delivering work to an exceptionally high standard, even at pace.

You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Creative Directors and Account teams to ensure briefs are fully understood and delivered accurately, efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpreting and understanding complex creative briefs
  • Producing high-quality animation and motion content across a variety of digital and broadcast formats
  • Building well-structured, technically robust After Effects files suitable for both manual output and templating
  • Working closely with creative, technical, operations and client service teams to deliver outstanding content
  • Being meticulous with quality assurance, reviewing final outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Providing accurate time estimates for projects and delivering against agreed SLAs
  • Working to defined creative guidelines when adapting existing assets or creating new content from scratch
  • Thriving under pressure while maintaining accuracy, detail and speed
  • Identifying opportunities to add value, improve efficiency and optimise project builds
  • Communicating clearly with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
  • Expert-level knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • A good understanding of production workflows and encoding for multiple platforms
  • Ability to turn around high-quality video and motion content quickly without compromising quality
  • Confident using After Effects to build and maintain templates
  • Experience working on TV output is beneficial but not essential
  • Experience with sound and music editing is an advantage
  • Ability to create animation or video storyboards is a bonus
  • Willingness and ability to learn new platforms and technologies as part of the role
Benefits:
  • 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays
  • Annual Wellbeing Day
  • Pension Scheme
  • Corporate Medical Cash Plan
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Monthly Employee Awards
  • Raising money for charity including a paid Volunteer Day
  • Referral scheme
  • Wellbeing Programme
  • Enhanced Family Friendly Leave
