Squeak & Rattle (S&R) Engineer in Warwick

At Itera Mobility Engineering, we are looking for a Squeak and Rattle Engineer to join our automotive engineering team in Gaydon, UK.

Main functions to develop:

• Lead the identification, diagnosis, and resolution of vehicle Squeak & Rattle issues throughout development, validation, and production phases.
• Perform road, track, and laboratory testing to detect, reproduce, and localize noise and vibration concerns.
• Conduct root cause analysis of squeaks, rattles, and buzzes, evaluating component interfaces, tolerances, fastening systems, and dynamic behavior.
• Define, validate, and implement corrective actions for interior, trim, seating, body, and closure systems in collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, quality teams, and suppliers.
• Manage S&R issues from detection to closure, including documentation, action planning, follow-up, and verification of effectiveness.
• Support design reviews by proactively identifying potential noise risks and recommending improvements to materials, interfaces, and tolerances.
• Utilize acoustic measurement, instrumentation, and frequency analysis tools to investigate and resolve NVH-related concerns.
• Evaluate prototypes and production vehicles against refinement, perceived quality, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Act as the Squeak & Rattle technical expert, providing guidance on best practices, standards, acceptance criteria, and problem-solving methodologies.
• At least 3 years of experience in similar roles within the automotive sector.
• NVH and vehicle refinement knowledge Product development system knowledge.
• Fluent in English is a must.
