About the role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with our learners to provide academic support, facilitate learning activities, and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment. Jobs Growth Wales Plus (JGW+) is a Welsh Government initiative that provides work experience and training opportunities to young people and unemployed individuals, enhancing their employability and supporting job creation in various sectors.

Your impact

  • Support students as needed to help them complete assignments given by their tutors.
  • Aid in the implementation of different learning programs, ensuring that students remain engaged throughout.
  • Facilitate effective learning for students, both in group settings and on an individual basis.

What are we looking for?

Essential

  • Experience working with young people and/or being passionate about making a difference.
  • Engaging and inspirational training and delivery style.
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWC registration.
