Are you an experienced Cloud Engineer looking for a role where you'll have real ownership, direct client interaction and the opportunity to develop your technical expertise across a wide range of technologies? We're looking for a proactive Cloud Engineer & Client Account Manager to join our growing team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least three years' commercial IT experience, ideally within an MSP environment, who enjoys combining technical problem-solving with building strong client relationships.
You'll work closely with the Technical Director, taking ownership of our clients' cloud environments, security, networking and infrastructure while acting as a trusted technical advisor. Rather than being just another engineer in a large organisation, you'll play a key role in helping businesses get the very best from their technology. What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting and maintaining Microsoft cloud environments, networking and security solutions.
- Managing and improving cloud infrastructure, security and monitoring.
- Creating scripts and automating cloud deployments and reporting, particularly within SharePoint.
- Configuring, maintaining and updating firewalls, routers and network security.
- Acting as the technical escalation point for firewall and cloud networking queries.
- Working alongside support engineers to deliver outstanding service and continuous improvement.
- Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and becoming their go-to technical contact.
- Working with third-party suppliers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Managing equipment ordering, provisioning and deployment.
- Keeping up to date with emerging technologies, new product releases and industry best practice.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years' commercial IT support or Cloud Engineering experience.
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Microsoft 365
- SharePoint
- Conditional Access
- Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Windows environments
- Networking fundamentals
- Router configuration
- Firewall administration
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and infrastructure issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally to client sites.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Microsoft or networking certifications.
- Experience with scripting or automation.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for learning new technologies.

Working Pattern
- Permanent position.
- Office-based in south west London 5 days per week.
- 40-hour working week (core hours 9:00 am-5:30 pm).

- Occasional travel to customer sites when required.
