3D Design & Drawings:
  • Update and enhance existing 3D designs and 2D drawings in SOLIDWORKS, ensuring high-quality and accurate designs.
  • Work on exciting new projects, producing concept and approval drawings for customers.
  • Utilize the integrated PDM system in SOLIDWORKS to manage revision control on components, assemblies, and drawings.
  • Input and update design Bills of Materials (BOMs) in the manufacturing and stock system (inFlow).
  • Produce and compile technical files for both new and existing machines, and create or update instruction manuals.
Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS:

Strong experience in using SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD software for design, modelling, and drawing updates. A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in both design work and data entry.

Multitasker:

The ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards.

Communication Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, the design team, and other departments.

Educational Background:

Ideally, you will have a college or university-level education in CAD, Design, or Engineering, but this is not mandatory if you have relevant experience.

Experience in a Similar Role:

Previous experience in a CAD Technician or similar role is highly beneficial.

Knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM):

Familiarity with PDM systems and revision control for managing design documents.
