ITE Management, a leading investment manager specializing in the transportation sector, is looking for a 2026 summer intern (8+ weeks) to join its dynamic and rapidly growing Investment team in London. Founded in 2014, ITE targets real asset investment opportunities that are cash yielding with downside protection, and benefit from a team with deep, longstanding relationships and financial and operating expertise. Today, the firm manages over $12bn of assets globally across rail, intermodal, aviation, and emerging technology strategies with office locations in New York City (HQ), Chicago, St. Louis and London.
This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in private equity‑style investing across real assets, operating platforms, and strategic partnerships within the transportation industry. As an intern, you will work closely with a small, dynamic deal team, gaining exposure to live transactions, portfolio initiatives and undertaking industry research.
Key Responsibilities- Perform research, competitive analysis, and benchmarking across asset classes and industries
- Lead individual research projects focused on specific markets & industries
- Conduct due diligence, financial analysis and modelling to support investment decisions
- Participate in internal and external meetings, negotiations and due diligence sessions
- Help to prepare high‑quality investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Hands‑on exposure to live investments and real portfolio situations

- Relevant prior internship experience (e.g. in investment banking, corporate finance, strategic consulting or private equity)
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Familiarity with financial modelling is a plus
- Rigorous attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and the ability to think critically
- A self‑starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a lean, fast‑paced environment
- An interest in transportation, real assets and long‑term fundamental investing
- Proficiency in English. Fluency in another European language (e.g. French, German or Italian) is a plus
