This role is a leadership position within the Private Capital Administration department in Guernsey, focusing on end-to-end responsibility for Fund Administration and Transfer Agency operations. The Administration Lead will provide strategic direction and oversee daily operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Head of Private Capital Administration, this role involves maintaining accountability for service levels and regulatory compliance for Guernsey-based funds. The successful candidate will partner with internal teams to manage client relationships and represent the function in various meetings. The role requires mentoring and developing the Guernsey team, fostering a high-performance culture. Key aspects include ensuring compliance with local regulatory frameworks and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Duties:

  • Provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership for Fund Administration and Transfer Agency services in Guernsey.
  • Own end-to-end Transfer Agency operations, maintaining accountability for service levels and compliance.
  • Serve as the Business Unit Outsourcing Manager, establishing a governance framework for delegated processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, including Guernsey Financial Services Commission regulations.
  • Act as a point of contact for Transfer Agency matters, working closely with various stakeholders to meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver an integrated service model.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Fund Administration/Transfer Agency team, managing resource planning and performance.
  • Monitor operational metrics, implementing improvements to enhance resilience and scalability.

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in Transfer Agency/Investor Services/fund administration, ideally in private equity.
  • Proven track record in managing service delivery across onshore-offshore or outsourced models.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in stakeholder management.
  • In-depth knowledge of fund industry regulations related to Transfer Agency, especially GFSC rules and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
  • Professional qualifications such as ICSA are advantageous.
  • Proven leadership experience, preferably at a senior manager level, with a focus on team development.
