Accounts Officer, Finance

Our client is seeking an Accounts Officer to join their Finance Department on a permanent basis. This hybrid role focuses on assisting the Associate Director/Manager and the team with various operational tasks. You will have the opportunity to enhance your knowledge in trust or leverage your experience from an internal finance role, particularly with accounting packages, to deliver high-quality outputs.

JOB DUTIES:

• Prepare and review daily operational tasks, such as invoices, credit notes, onboarding of new clients, and sales ledger related queries.
• Manage a busy inbox and allocate queries to the team accordingly.
• Liaise with Administration Teams to ensure and promote adherence to deadlines and delivery of billing processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Review and process client entity closedown requests.
• Assist with month-end reporting tasks.
• Aid in ad-hoc projects and requests as needed.
• Uphold the organisation’s policies and standards, ensuring compliance with legislative regulations.
• Adhere to Risk and Compliance procedures relating to regulatory requirements and anti-money laundering (AML) legislation.
• Follow core values and expected behaviours set by our client.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Team player with the capability to work well with a team.
• Experienced in financial operations, particularly in sales ledger.
• Experience in trust or internal finance roles is preferred.
