The predicted salary is between 14 - 14 £ per hour.

We are looking to appoint a gym induction assistant to complete gym inductions for the community department. The role will include providing comprehensive gym inductions for new members, explaining health and safety requirements for using the gym, explaining how to use the individual pieces of equipment and ensuring the member is safe to use the gym. This is a casual claims position, work will need to be completed out of college hours. The successful candidate will be qualified to the appropriate level to complete the gym inductions and have good communication skills whilst dealing with members of the public.

Salary: SCP 3, currently £14.38 p/h including holiday allowance

Key Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for carrying out gym inductions

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

  • First Aid certificate
  • Either Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing or Diploma in Instructing Exercise and Fitness or Level 3 Diploma in Fitness Instructing and Personal Training
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Alert to health and safety regulations
