Itchen College Nursery is currently looking for Early Years Practitioners to work as bank staff within the Nursery.
Location: Itchen Sixth Form College
Compensation: £14.38 per hour
This type of work is ideal for anybody who isn’t able to work full time hours and needs work to fit around their own schedule. Please mark on your application the days you are able to work. Salary – SCP 3, currently £14.38p/h to include holiday allowance.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children placed in the Day Nursery.
- Work collaboratively with the nursery team to ensure a positive and nurturing environment.
- Implement and maintain the daily routine in the designated base room.
- Adhere to and uphold the Nursery’s Safeguarding Policy & Procedures at all times.
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or working towards.
- Good level of general education.
- Experience of working with children in a Nursery setting, particularly pre-school age.
- Good knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Good knowledge of Safeguarding procedures.
