We are seeking a motivated and curious Assistant Systems Developer to join our busy MIS team and play a key role in shaping how data and digital systems support teaching, learning, and student success. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in data systems, web development, and business intelligence within a forward-thinking college environment. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation to develop and maintain internal applications, improve data quality, and deliver insightful reporting that supports decision-making and ensures compliance with funding requirements. From building web-based tools to supporting our data warehouse and Power BI reporting, your work will have a real impact on the student experience.
Contract: Permanent, Full time (37 hrs p/w, 52 wks p/a)
Salary: Support Staff SCP 10, Range 10-12 (currently £27,733.00- £29,544.00) p/a

Key Responsibilities
- Working within the MIS Team, you will support the development of the college’s data and systems infrastructure by integrating data from multiple systems, developing internal web applications, and contributing to a streamlined reporting environment.
- You will assist in the development, programming, and maintenance of web-based systems and data processes, ensuring high-quality reporting, compliance with DfE/ESFA funding rules, and excellent user experience across college applications.

- Experience of developing web based systems
- Able to communicate data findings clearly to non-technical audiences
- Degree or equivalent in a computing/technical subject
