We are seeking a motivated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our Adult and Community Education team. In this role, you will provide essential support in the delivery of Adult and Community courses across Hampshire. You will work closely with tutors to support learners with varying needs, including those with additional learning challenges or disabilities, ensuring they receive the help they need to succeed and grow in a positive learning environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and making a real difference in the lives of adult learners. If you have experience supporting individuals with a range of needs, including those with learning difficulties or disabilities, this could be the perfect role for you. You will be a patient and understanding individual who enjoys working as part of a small, close-knit team. To thrive in this role, you will need excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with learners from all backgrounds. Your role will be to encourage and empower learners, helping them gain confidence, develop independence, and reach their learning goals.

About Itchen Sixth Form College: a sixth form college based in Hampshire offering A-Levels and vocational courses across an extensive curriculum. Itchen is a 110-year-old state-inspected and state-funded college focused on preparing 16–19 year olds for university study. Itchen College is located to the east of Southampton with excellent transport links.
Salary: Spine Point 3 £12.83/hour plus £1.55/hour holiday allowance
