About the Role
As the Video Editor, you’re someone who lives and breathes content – at the forefront of what’s trending, what’s about to trend, and what engages a brand's audience. Your role will involve reviewing extensive amounts of footage, hand‑picking the best shots, cutting the best edit, picking the best track, and creating the best story within the brief’s requirements. You should always be ready to offer creative solutions when appropriate. You’ll be comfortable with sound design and colour grading, always looking at new techniques to help you create the highest‑quality projects for our clients. A creative mind who also appreciates the importance of process and file management, and doesn’t shy away from revising and creating the various outputs that are often required. As a strong communicator, you love open dialogue to help fill in those little gaps that occur during fast‑paced agency work, to get the information and content you need to complete each project.
Key Skills
- Advanced skills in Premiere Pro CC
- Solid understanding of Adobe Audition
- High‑level competency in Colour Grading
- Moderate knowledge of After Effects / Graphics
- At least 4 years of experience editing content for brands
- Coherent interest in trends and tech in editing

- Proven experience in content editing, preferably in an agency or editorial setting

Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality video edits that align with project briefs, brand guidelines, and client expectations.
- Maintain ITCH’s standards for storytelling, narrative flow, and technical execution – from concept to final delivery.
- Manage the edit process efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining creative excellence.
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished short‑ and long‑form content.
- Ensure seamless transitions, continuity, and a visually engaging narrative.
- Work with all other departments to make output reflect the craft that has gone into pre‑production and production.
- Manage and organise large volumes of footage and assets efficiently.
- Maintain an organised file structure and adhere to project timelines.
- Deliver perfect‑quality online exports.
- Solve creative problems with the wider team.
- Make clients feel we have gone above and beyond what other agencies would do.
- Report to the senior editor on the progress of projects and timelines.
- Ensure content adheres to the agency's guidelines, client specifications, and industry best practices.
- Ensure colour correction and colour grading are effectively used across all relevant projects.
- Carry out sound design on all edits where appropriate.
- Take ownership of your entire part of the edit process from concept to delivery.
- Work with multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure solutions meet or exceed our clients’ strategic objectives.
- Work on multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meeting deadlines and supporting team members to do the same.
- Contribute to establishing the workflows within the team, including freelancers.
- Follow the correct edit processes and create high‑quality deliverables for projects.
- Be on hand to support and skill‑share with any junior members of the team.
- Help the Studio Manager scope projects and give time estimates needed to complete your work.
- Provide regular updates to the Accounts team on all projects you’re working on.
- Make everything look and sound amazing.
