The Regional Sales Consulting Manager directly interacts with prospective customers to analyze their requirements, configure and demonstrate a value-oriented solution, and enlighten prospects on potential pathways to success. Responsibilities:
- As a subject matter expert, provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying ITC technology to client business.
- Facilitate prospect product/application understanding through presentations, demonstrations, and by setting a vision for how ITC will improve daily operations and drive business objectives.
- Provide presales support to prospective clients with minimal supervision.
- Act as a functional and technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants.
- Perform needs gathering and requirement analysis for prospective customers.
- Develop and deliver high quality ITC presentations and demonstrations, articulating advanced product features, future direction, and ITC solutions to all levels including line of business managers, technical engineers, and C-level executives.
- Design, validate, and present ITC software solutions including advanced product concepts, future direction, and third-party complementary products.
- Provide input to cross-functional teams regarding prospect requests and product enhancements as needed.
- Maintain opportunity updates within the internal sales force automation system to manage and prioritize sales opportunities.
- Travel as needed, approximately 20% β 40%.
Qualifications:
- 7 or more years of relevant software/technology sales experience.
- Relative industry experience in Healthcare Services, Financial Services, Transportation & Logistics and/or Construction with demonstrated understanding of the industry and appropriate acumen.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, value positioning, business justification, closing techniques, and presentation skills.
- Experience supporting the sales cycle in CRM, ERP and accounting applications for software organizations preferred.
- Previous application experience in one or more of the following desired: SAP e-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, Sage Intacct, Epicor/Aptos, SAP, QuickBooks, AccPac, Best Software-MAS Series, Sales Logix, Siebel or Salesforce.com.
- Solid presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of increasing deal size and accelerating the buying process.
- Successful quota achievement.
- Prior experience in sales, sales consulting, or software consulting is optimal.
- Demonstrated proficiency in multi-user operating systems or ERPs.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems with accounts in complex technical environments.
- Ability to travel as needed, approx. 20% β 40%.
- BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
