About the role
We are looking for a driven, consultative, and customer-focused Solutions Consultant to engage prospects, uncover business challenges, and recommend tailored SaaS solutions that deliver real impact. Youâll play a critical role in qualifying opportunities, running discovery conversations, and guiding businesses of all sizes toward the right services and solutions serving as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle. This role requires energy, resilience, commercial awareness, and a strong ability to connect with prospects across multiple channels.
What Youâll Do
- Engage effectively with prospects generated through marketing campaigns, events, and topical content to understand their current challenges and future business goals.
- Conduct structured BANT qualification calls to assess needs, budget, authority, and timelines.
- Take a consultative approach to discovery â asking insightful questions, probing deeply, and identifying true business pain points.
- Recommend suitable solutions and services aligned to each prospectâs operational and strategic objectives.
- Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations that clearly articulate business value and ROI.
- Deliver a customerâfirst experience, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations at every touchpoint.
- Actively identify opportunities to improve service offerings using insights gathered from prospect conversations.
- Work toward clear sales targets and performance metrics, maintaining focus on results and deadlines.
- Act quickly and decisively in fastâchanging, competitive environments.
- Contribute to social selling efforts by engaging on social media and creating relevant content.
- Contribute to sales enablement materials, demo environments, and best practice documentation.
- Represent the business confidently on video and audio for outreach, educational sessions, and prospect engagement.
- Manage multiple prospects and opportunities simultaneously in an organized and methodical way.
- Maintain deep expertise in our product, industry trends, and competitive landscape and provide structured feedback to Product teams based on customer insights.
What Youâll Bring
- Proven experience in a similar solutions, consultative sales, or SaaSâbased role.
- Proven experience running tailored product demonstrations and discovery sessions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and âhit the ground runningâ.
- Strong resultsâdriven mentality with a clear focus on achieving targets and deadlines.
- Excellent probing, listening, and questioning skills with the ability to uncover underlying business challenges.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and executive stakeholders including C Level.
- Strong consultative mindset â naturally curious, commercially aware, and focused on delivering meaningful outcomes.
- Ability to stay positive, forwardâthinking, and solutionâoriented in challenging situations.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously in a fastâpaced environment.
- Comfort working crossâfunctionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
- Experience responding to RFPs and technical security questionnaires is a plus.
- Active and confident on social media, with experience creating content to drive engagement.
- Experience using Sage products and addâons (highly desirable).
