About the Role
This role oversees the financial transactions of IT Accounts Support Limited (ITAS). You will work closely with the Finance Director, Head of Operations, and Managing Director. You will also build a strong collaborative relationship with all teams. You will review cost and balance sheet with key stakeholders and the financial accountant as well. You will ensure that debtors/creditors are managed efficiently and issues resolved and brought swiftly to attention. You will also make year-end journal adjustments, profit/cost analysis, and report and monitor on business performance against goals.
Controlling & Collaboration
- Oversee the month-end position for ITAS
- Review variances
- Produce a flash report for review with Leadership team
- Produce monthly performance review from ITAS systems
- Weekly meeting with Commercials to understand the sales position
- Update forecast simulation for review with Leadership team
- Support Finance Administrator in processing accounts correctly into the accounting platform and identifying mistakes and leading corrections.
- Ensuring effective controls are in place and identifying and implementing improvements to process
Cashflow Analysis & Reporting
- Review and report the variances to forecast cash position
- Collaborate with areas of the business and complete monthly cashflow reporting
- Understand direct and indirect purchases - review year cash position actively champion improvements
Budget & Forecast
- Collaborate and produce a top-down budget with key stakeholders
- Review indirect synergies and focus on improvements
- Challenge COGs and business performance against plan
Management Reporting
- Management reporting package for ITAS
- Coverage report
- Actuals Vs Budget YTD variation to forecast
What You Need to Be Successful
- Working toward or newly completed finance qualification
- 2-3 years’ experience with finance analytical work
- Ideally some experience in SAAS businesses
- Ideally some experience using Sage Accounting Packages Sage 200/Sage Intacct
