We are recruiting for a Consultant to join the team to work on projects across the human development portfolio. They will contribute to the successful delivery and management of projects, build and own relationships with key client stakeholders, contribute to business development activities, share learning through knowledge products and external conferences and events, and be a part of maintaining our excellent reputation with our clients.

We place emphasis on individual agency and encourage an entrepreneurial approach to creating your own portfolio of work in areas of particular interest, from active sales, to bid writing through to delivery.

The core technical strengths of all our consultants are focused around four key areas:

  • Evidence Advocate: You will use a range of data and analysis tools to apply in a structured and systematic way to produce evidence-based findings.
  • Change Agent: You can effectively analyse and interpret data to support evidence-based discussions and use strong client-facing skills to deliver this.
  • Project Manager: You will have demonstrated your ability to pro-actively manage clients whilst building trust, ensuring a quality focus throughout, supported by clear commercial project management skills.
  • Trusted Advisor: You will have researched and understood client challenges and offered solutions and alternatives.

The Candidate:

You will have a proven track record within monitoring, evaluation and learning assignments and seen at least one significant project through the full lifecycle within the health space; with experience in education, WASH or climate desirable. We have a particular interest in providing more services within the UK domestic market and expanding our reach to philanthropies, so experience in those areas particularly welcome.

You may also have a post-graduate degree in a relevant discipline and have proficiency in European languages—ideally French, but this isn’t essential. We also know that there are great candidates who will not fit everything we have described above, or who have important skills we have not mentioned. If that is you, please do not hesitate to apply and tell us about yourself.
