Tax Coordinator / Sales & Property Tax Specialist
Part Time/ Hybrid/ Remote
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about tax compliance? Our client is seeking a Tax Coordinator to join their team and take ownership of sales tax and property tax filings. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a growing company in the construction industry while working independently and making an immediate impact.

Compensation
$25–30 per hour, depending on experience
What You’ll Be Doing
Preparing and filing sales tax returns (monthly, quarterly, annual).
Filing business personal property tax returns and reviewing assessments.
Registering business and sales tax licenses with states, counties, and cities.
Researching discrepancies and maintaining organized tax documentation.
Supporting compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
What You’ll Need to be Considered
Strong experience with property tax (seasonal) and sales tax filing (monthly).
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the A/C/E industry, with tax preparation and filing required.
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including GAAP.
General knowledge of lien rights.
Advanced Excel skills.
Proficiency with MS Office.
Construction industry experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Vista/Viewpoint software is a plus.
