What You’ll Be Doing:
- Write and coordinate technical specifications and project manuals
- Align documents with architectural drawings, codes, and client standards
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants
- Research materials and methods to ensure compliance and innovation
- Maintain and update firm-wide spec templates and standards
- Participate in quality assurance reviews and code checks
- Assist with construction administration by reviewing submittals
What You’ll Need to Be Considered:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
- Familiarity with CSI MasterFormat
- Experience using specification software (MasterSpec, e-SPECS, or similar preferred)
- Up-to-date knowledge of evolving building codes and materials
- Prior experience maintaining spec templates is a plus
- Revit or AutoCAD exposure is helpful but not required
