Grant and Investment Accountant

As an Investment Accountant, you’ll ensure the integrity of endowment and investment accounting, helping direct critical resources that empower families and individuals to thrive. Compensation

  • $75,000–$85,000 salary range

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Record contributions, disbursements, and monthly allocations for investments
  • Prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger, and run monthly/quarterly reports
  • Renew and open certificates of deposit; prepare related audit schedules
  • Manage endowment gifts, life insurance entries, and online stock contributions
  • Handle accounting for fixed and prepaid assets, long-term receivables, and funded initiatives
  • Serve as backup for payroll and check-writing processes
  • Support audits and ad hoc reporting as needed

What You’ll Need to be Considered

  • Experience with investment and/or grant accounting
  • ERP proficiency (MIP would be a huge plus!)
  • Degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA or public accounting background is highly valued
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical abilities
