ITAC Solutions is searching for a GIS Analyst for a great company in the Birmingham, AL area! This role requires the individual to work onsite in Birmingham, AL from 7:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. This individual’s role will be to manage assets within the GIS division. Some of this work will include As-builting, facility maintenance, and data quality assurance.

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

  • Use ESRI software to edit map features, correlate attributes to create asset records, and collect construction AsBuilt data.
  • Use understanding of GIS processes to support data quality
  • Basic editing to support data integrity
  • Support miscellaneous mapping and data inquiries
  • Use Maximo to create workflow work orders throughout the AsBuilt lifecycle
  • Conduct testing

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related field (required)
  • A strong understanding of data requirements and GIS Processes
  • Experience with ESRI desktop and mobile software applications
  • Experience supporting mapping and data inquires
  • Valid driver’s license (required)
