Compensation:
$50,000–$60,000, depending on experience
What You’ll Be Doing
- Review optimization-software routes and verify they make operational sense before distribution
- Flag issues with delivery windows, vehicle capacity, weight restrictions, and DOT compliance
- Distribute finalized routing plans to local markets
- Compare planned routes to what markets actually ran, reviewing freight volumes, revenue, and margins
- Document where and why markets deviated, and the impact
- Share findings with market leadership, including changes that improved efficiency or profitability
- Support audits, analytical deep dives, and process improvement
What You’ll Need to be Considered
- Willingness to question processes and dig into why something happened
- Able to raise discrepancies with operations teams professionally, without being confrontational
- Logistics, transportation, routing, or distribution experience preferred
- Operations, logistics, routing, or QC analyst experience reviewing KPIs and margins preferred
- Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems a plus
