Corporate Events Specialist – 6 month Contract – On Site

Compensation
$25–$28/hr – DOE
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own end-to-end planning of events, meetings, and sales incentive trips, from site selection to post‑event reporting
- Consult with stakeholders to set event goals, scope, budgets, and timelines, and build project plans and contingencies
- Lead vendor and venue management: RFPs, site evaluation, contract negotiation, and logistics for F&B, AV, production, and transportation
- Partner with Marketing on promotional materials and registration, and represent the client at events with executives and customers
- Manage event-related accounting and documentation
- Research and coordinate event management technology
- Conduct post‑event surveys and critiques to improve future programs
What You’ll Need to be Considered:
- 8+ years of experience in event and meeting management required
- Active FICP membership preferred, or willingness to join upon hire
- Able to travel about 25% for site visits and on‑site event management
