We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to support the design and delivery of cloud‑based data, analytics, and AI/ML data platforms. The role focuses on defining scalable data architectures and guiding engineering teams across GCP, Snowflake, and dbt‑based ecosystems in a regulated enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define end‑to‑end data architecture across ingestion, storage, transformation, and consumption layers.
- Design and govern data models and data products on GCP (BigQuery/BigLake) and Snowflake.
- Provide architectural direction for analytics engineering, including dbt‑based transformation layers.
- Enable AI/ML use cases by designing feature datasets, training data pipelines, and model consumption patterns.
- Ensure solutions meet data governance, security, and access control standards.
- Act as architectural authority, working closely with data engineers, analytics engineers, and platform teams.
Required Technical Skills
- Data Platforms: Google Cloud Platform – BigQuery, BigLake, Dataplex, GCS; Snowflake Data Cloud
- Analytics Engineering: dbt (modelling, testing, documentation, CI/CD integration); Strong SQL and analytical data modelling experience
- AI / ML Enablement: Data architecture to support ML training and inference; Feature store / feature dataset design (conceptual or hands‑on)
- Engineering & Delivery: CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm or equivalent); Secure data access and consumption patterns
Experience Required
- Strong experience as a Data Architect / Analytics Architect in large‑scale environments.
- Hands‑on architecture experience with Snowflake and/or GCP analytics platforms.
- Experience supporting analytics and AI/ML data products.
- Comfortable working with multiple delivery teams and stakeholders.
