Responsible for design, deployment, management, and support of VDI, XenApp, Windows365, Azure VDI, and Netscaler. Experience in IGEL is preferred. Needs to have automation and integration experience with the latest AI technologies such as Power Automate and Copilot. Extensive experience of all Workspace infrastructure and their inter-dependencies is integral to the success of this role. Must have deep knowledge of all basic technologies as well as Windows365, Azure, XenApp, XenDesktop, Power Automate and Copilot. You will also interface with various IT teams, project managers, vendors, and business leaders to ensure alignment with business requirements and technological innovations. Responsible for leveraging emerging automation and AI technologies in End User Workspace. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under limited supervision. A large degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the team on the architecture, deployment, management of Workspace technology deployment/strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals.
  • Extensive knowledge on the architecture and deployment of Windows365 (CloudPCs).
  • Experience in build and design Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Knowledge in Power Automate and Copilot technologies to enhance user experience, service delivery and performance.
  • Exposure to leveraging Robotics process automation to streamline End User Workspace processes and deliverables.
  • Contribute as a subject matter technical expert for all Workspace technologies.
  • Work independently on projects with all teams to meet defined deliverables and timelines.
  • Efficiently troubleshoot/prioritize issues and create a culture of root cause analysis.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to urgently analyze and troubleshoot escalated issues from Tier II.
  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of all Workspace technologies.
  • Work closely with all Support teams in problem resolution as well as Infrastructure projects.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to ensure the organization remains technologically competitive.
  • Continuously develop and update documentation as well as knowledge base articles.
  • Work with team to cross train on all Workspace Technologies.
  • Responsible for application support and development for Citrix infrastructure 7x24.
  • Assist with conducting third party vendor review and analysis.
  • After-hours support rotation and implementation as needed.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge in the build and implementation of Power Automate code/AI to streamline processes and increase productivity.
  • Highly Proficient in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Architecture.
  • Strong background in Azure with a specialized experience in W365 and Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Experienced in Citrix integration with AWS and Azure.
  • Extensive knowledge in VMware and Nutanix.
  • Experience in the build and support of NetScaler.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Citrix Cloud and automation around it.
  • Experience in IGEL preferred.
  • Previous exposure in troubleshooting L3/L2/L1 issues systemwide as well as a single user.
  • Good interpersonal skills including networking, collaboration, communication, time management, being able to adapt to different audiences, environments, and cultures.
  • Team player and the willingness to lend a hand with any project, big or small.
  • Project Management and Documentation skills.
  • At least 5 years of experience in VDI engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
