ServiceNow Senior Platform Architect will perform the following activities:
- Design and Architecture: Develop and maintain the overall architecture of the platform until transitioned into service and handed to client ServiceNow support. Ensure the platform supports current and future business requirements with the approach being out-of-the-box first, configuration second and customisation only when absolutely necessary and approved by Customer. Identify opportunities for platform optimisation using best practice and out of the box automations and technical accelerators available via ServiceNow Impact Guided. Support the customer in the creation of stories based against the TSF process MoSCoWs.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to development teams and project team. Lead the evaluation and integration of TSF processes, leveraging ServiceNow Impact Guided health assessments/scans at the beginning of each sprint. Ensure best practices in security, scalability, and performance. Offer architectural oversight and assess the implications of new requests with the Toolset Manager. Work closely with stakeholders to understand functional and nonfunctional business needs. Collaborate with other architects, developers, and operations teams.
- Implementation and Integration: Oversee the implementation of platform solutions including mid-servers, integrations and instances (Dev, Test, Prod). Ensure seamless integration and migration with existing systems and applications. Develop and maintain integration plans and strategies.
- Quality Assurance: Work with ServiceNow Impact Guided team to conduct regular audits and performance assessments. Work with the Test Manager to implement and oversee testing strategy and plans. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Documentation and Training: Update architectural documentation and work with developers to update support runbooks and technical guides wherever applicable.
