The role acts as both a specialist in managing assets and co-ordination of on-site activities. You will be responsible for the above activities based onsite at Bristol (Central hub) and on the associated sites in line with industry best practice and common tools. You will need to act as a first point of contact internally and with the customer in relation to:
- Main Responsibilities
- Logistics
- Work with Delivery and Partner Teams to facilitate Stock Movements.
- Accept deliveries of assets delivered to the site.
- Work closely with the customer asset management teams, attend customer meetings in relation to stock management.
- Unbox and bundle assets ready for dispatch or collection.
- Own and maintain fully auditable end-to-end processes for robust stock control.
- Ensure storage areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Stock Management & Disposal
- Manage stock by booking-in, booking-out and maintaining an auditable trail of stock.
- Complete Ad-hoc/Monthly Audit Checks.
- Work with client HAM team in India as required.
- Work with HAM Team in maintaining Run-Rate Usage levels against demand, ensuring the required Bad Stock is tested to maintain required Stock levels.
- Input to the Monthly Peripheral usage/requirements to maintain Stock levels.
- Assist with Disposals preparation/collection.
- Co-ordination
- Monitor open calls to align hardware and engineers to ensure that they are actioned within SLA or as per any pre-arranged appointments.
- Contact Clients to book/arrange appointments.
- Ensuring all call and completion updates are recorded accurately as per current processes and procedures.
- Escalate calls approaching breach of SLA to the engineer and/or appropriate Team Leader.
- To carry out other ad-hoc admin tasks as requested by the Team Leader.
- Technical Skills
- Understanding of different types of end user IT Infrastructure – Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Handhelds, Smartphone etc.
- Good understanding of using IT Applications i.e MS Excel, Service Now and Outlook.
- Business Skills
- Ability to interact with Client so as to ensure that the service is polite, efficient and responsive.
- A self-starter with ability to work on their own initiative.
- To work through issues analytically to a successful conclusion.
- Ability to provide consistent, excellent support to entire staff, representing a variety of personalities and management levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and local language).
- Must be detail oriented and self-motivating.
- Ability to make quick, accurate, decisive decisions in order for service delivery to meet.
