A scaling technology business with NetSuite embedded at the core of their operations. With a growing product portfolio and an expanding customer base, they are investing in their internal systems capability to ensure NetSuite continues to support the business as it grows. This is a rare in-house opportunity for a functional consultant who wants to move client-side and take real ownership of a platform.
As the NetSuite Functional Consultant you'll be the internal subject matter expert for NetSuite — working closely with finance, operations, and commercial teams to continuously improve the system, support day-to-day users, and lead on any new module rollouts or process improvement initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Acting as the internal NetSuite expert, managing configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement across the platform
- Working with stakeholders across finance, ops, and commercial to gather requirements and translate them into practical NetSuite solutions
- Building and maintaining workflows, saved searches, custom records, and dashboards to support business processes
- Leading UAT, testing, and validation activity for system changes, new functionality, and NetSuite release updates
- Managing user roles, permissions, and access — ensuring system integrity and compliance at all times
- Supporting integrations between NetSuite and other platforms within the technology stack
- Delivering user training and producing documentation that improves system confidence across the business
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite functional experience
- Experience in an end-user or in-house systems role advantageous
- Strong configuration skills — workflows, saved searches, custom records, and forms
- Solid understanding of core finance and operational processes — R2R, O2C, P2P
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
- A self-starter who takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what needs improving
- NetSuite certifications desirable but not essential
The Package:
- Competitive salary — dependent on experience
- Hybrid working with genuine flexibility
- Fast-paced, collaborative technology environment
- Real scope to shape and own the NetSuite function
