I'm currently working with a leading UK defence manufacturer that is looking to appoint an experienced Epicor ERP Manager to take ownership of its business-critical Epicor ERP environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation investing heavily in its digital transformation, where Epicor sits at the heart of manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and finance operations.
You'll be responsible for the strategic direction, support and continuous improvement of the Epicor system, whilst leading future enhancements and ensuring the platform continues to meet the needs of a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
The Role
- Own and manage the Epicor ERP landscape across the business
- Lead ERP optimisation, enhancement and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, finance and IT teams to deliver business solutions
- Manage Epicor upgrades, testing and future roadmap planning
- Oversee third-party partners and external Epicor consultants
- Ensure system stability, security and performance
- Develop reporting, dashboards and KPIs to support operational decision making
- Manage ERP integrations with other business systems
- Drive user adoption, training and best practice across the organisation
- Act as the internal Epicor subject matter expert
Experience Required
- Strong experience supporting or managing Epicor ERP (Epicor 10 and/or Kinetic)
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, aerospace or defence environments
- Proven track record delivering ERP improvement or implementation projects
- Good understanding of manufacturing, planning, inventory, procurement and finance processes
- Experience working with BAQs, BPMs, Dashboards and reporting
- Knowledge of SQL and Epicor customisations would be advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the business
