Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the organisation's systems, data, and reporting strategy. You'll lead the evolution of core business platforms, improve data quality and governance, and develop a roadmap that enables smarter decision‑making across the organisation. This position combines strategic leadership with hands‑on oversight of business‑critical systems, integrations, analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead a growing team responsible for systems administration, process improvement, business intelligence, data governance, and enterprise architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Systems Strategy & Architecture
    • Define and maintain the long‑term systems and data roadmap.
    • Ensure business applications, integrations, and data structures are scalable and fit for purpose.
    • Lead solution design and integration initiatives across core business platforms.
    • Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements aligned to business objectives.
    • Reduce system complexity and technical risk through standardisation and best practice.
  • Business Systems & Applications
    • Oversee administration and optimisation of key enterprise applications, including ERP and CRM platforms.
    • Drive automation and efficiency improvements across business processes.
    • Ensure systems remain secure, reliable, and appropriately documented.
    • Partner with stakeholders to identify enhancement opportunities and prioritise initiatives.
  • Data Governance & Quality
    • Establish data ownership, governance frameworks, and quality standards.
    • Develop controls and validation processes to improve data accuracy.
    • Monitor compliance with data management standards and drive corrective actions where required.
    • Create a trusted data environment that supports operational and strategic decision‑making.
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Develop and enhance management reporting, dashboards, and KPI frameworks.
    • Enable a data‑driven culture by improving access to meaningful business insights.
    • Support leadership teams with analytical reporting and performance measurement.
    • Champion the use of data to improve business outcomes.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of systems and data professionals.
    • Build strong relationships across departments and senior leadership.
    • Act as the escalation point for business‑critical systems and data issues.
    • Influence organisational change through effective communication and stakeholder management.

About You

  • Proven experience leading business systems, data, reporting, or technology functions.
  • Strong ERP experience, ideally including NetSuite or similar cloud‑based platforms.
  • Good understanding of systems integration, data architecture, and governance principles.
  • Experience delivering reporting and analytics solutions that support business performance.
  • Demonstrable stakeholder management experience across multiple business functions.
  • Strong process improvement and change management capability.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and ERP integrations.
  • Exposure to workforce planning, resource management, or professional services environments.
  • Experience building or scaling internal systems and data teams.
  • Knowledge of modern reporting and business intelligence tools.
