A growing ERP consultancy is seeking an experienced IFS Supply Chain Consultant to join its team. The organisation takes a practical, client-focused approach, delivering clear value to clients across a range of industries.
You will work primarily with manufacturing, food & beverage, and other organisations across the UK, helping them get the most from their IFS ERP systems through high-quality delivery and trusted advisory services. The role is home-based, with travel required depending on project needs. Most projects are UK-based, with occasional opportunities in neighbouring regions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Solution Design & Delivery
- Lead workshops with customers to gather requirements for Supply Chain processes.
- Translate business needs into IFS configurations and functional solutions.
- Configure and implement IFS modules in line with best practice.
- Oversee data migration, testing, and cut-over activities within your functional areas.
- Client Engagement & Advisory
- Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through IFS-enabled business processes.
- Provide recommendations on optimisation, reporting, and system integrations.
- Leadership & Quality Assurance
- Maintain solution integrity and quality across all project phases.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and the development of delivery accelerators.
- Work closely with technical teams on customisations, interfaces, and reporting.
- Liaise with Change Management teams to support user adoption.
- Collaborate with other functional consultants (Finance, HR, Manufacturing, etc.) to deliver integrated ERP solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Mandatory
- Self-motivated individual who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and focuses on outcomes.
- Deep functional knowledge across IFS Supply Chain modules, including Procurement, Inventory, Sales, Scanning, EDI, Demand Planning, and Master Scheduling.
- Experience designing solutions and delivering end-user training on IFS functionality.
- Proven experience delivering at least one full end-to-end IFS implementation.
- Track record of delivering multiple IFS implementations across different industries.
- Expertise in IFS Manufacturing modules such as Planning & Scheduling, Shop Floor Reporting, Structures & Routings, and Product Costing.
- Consultancy experience or working in a partner environment is advantageous.
- Exposure to IFS Cloud.
