Role Overview
We are looking for a permanent IFS Cloud SME with strong functional and/or technical expertise in IFS Cloud to support the ongoing evolution of our ERP landscape. This role will play a critical part in driving continuous improvement, system optimisation, and long-term digital transformation initiatives. As a key member of the internal team, you will act as the primary authority on IFS Cloud, working closely with business stakeholders and IT to ensure the platform is fully aligned with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the internal Subject Matter Expert for IFS Cloud across core modules
- Own and drive continuous improvement of business processes within IFS Cloud
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
- Lead system configuration, enhancement, and optimisation activities
- Support system upgrades, patches, and release management
- Provide ongoing 2nd/3rd line support and issue resolution
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors where required
- Oversee data integrity, governance, and system performance
- Deliver user training and promote adoption across the business
- Maintain system documentation and best practice standards
Key Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong, hands-on experience with IFS Cloud (support, enhancement, or implementation)
- Deep expertise in one or more functional areas: Finance, Supply Chain / Procurement, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Manufacturing, Projects
- Experience supporting a live ERP environment in a permanent or long-term capacity
- Proven ability to improve and optimise business processes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, and data management
Desirable
- Experience migrating from legacy IFS versions (Apps 9/10) to Cloud
- Technical exposure (PL/SQL, Aurena, integrations)
- Experience working within complex or regulated industries
- Familiarity with reporting/analytics tools (e.g. Power BI)
Qualifications
- Degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- IFS certifications (advantageous but not essential)
