Act as the internal owner and subject matter expert for Epicor ERP.
- Manage system configuration, upgrades, patching and performance optimisation.
- Maintain user roles, permissions and security settings.
- Oversee system health, reliability and data integrity.
- Work with external Epicor partners where specialist support is required.
Business Process & Workflow Development
- Analyse existing business processes and develop improved workflows within Epicor and supporting systems.
- Configure and enhance system workflows, automation and approval processes.
- Work closely with operational teams to streamline manufacturing, supply chain and finance processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
Project Delivery & Systems Improvement
- Lead or support technology and ERP-related projects across the business.
- Manage system enhancements, upgrades and new functionality deployments.
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver projects successfully.
Manufacturing Support
- Ensure ERP and IT systems support aerospace manufacturing processes including traceability, quality management and compliance.
- Support core manufacturing activities such as MRP, shop floor control, inventory management and production scheduling.
IT Systems & Infrastructure Support
- Support the wider IT environment alongside ERP responsibilities.
- Assist with system integrations between Epicor and other platforms (CRM, PLM, MES and other operational systems).
- Work with IT teams or service providers to maintain system performance and reliability.
- Contribute to broader IT strategy and digital transformation initiatives.
User Support & Training
- Provide support and guidance to Epicor users across the business.
- Deliver training sessions to improve system adoption and effective usage.
- Develop system documentation, procedures and user guidance.
Data, Reporting & Insights
- Ensure high levels of data accuracy and system governance.
- Develop dashboards, reports and KPIs within Epicor to support operational decision making.
- Provide insights and reporting for senior management teams.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working with Epicor ERP in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing ERP processes including MRP, BOMs, production scheduling and inventory management.
- Experience leading ERP improvements, system implementations or business systems projects.
- Ability to analyse business processes and develop improved workflows and automation.
- Experience working across both ERP systems and wider IT environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience within aerospace, defence or highly regulated manufacturing sectors.
- Experience with Epicor customisation tools, BAQs, BPMs, dashboards and integrations.
- Knowledge of manufacturing shop floor systems or MES platforms.
- Experience supporting ERP upgrades or migrations.
